The Hellecasters

The Hellecasters are one hell of a band who's instrumental guitar work just might make you think twice about ignoring them as "just another widdly guitar player". They are actually three guitar players, all of whom are really hot! The Hellecasters are John Jorgenson, Will Ray, and Jerry Donahue.

John Jorgenson is a very friendly and personable artist who does not mind talking to his fans (or other guitar players for that matter!). I got to talk to him for about an hour at a recent guitar show. He previously was in the Desert Rose Band and also did some time on the bluegrass circuit. Jorgenson says his early influences were The Byrds, and Buffalo Springfield along with the Ventures. The Hellecasters mix country, rock, bluegrass, and surf music into a diverse collection of music on their three CD's. "The Return Of The Hellecasters" , "Escape From Hollywood" and "Axes To Grind". All CD's come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
