Check out Dick Dales New Web Site: http://www.dickdale.net Playing his one and only Fender Stratocaster guitar (given to him by the one and only Leo Fender) and still using the Fender Dual Showman amp that he and Leo Fender designed to stand up to his extensive mistreatment (ie. major LOUD...take your earplugs....even Dick Dale recommends that you wear them at his shows!!!) he puts out a massive sound. Using heavy strings (stated by Dale to be 16's to 68's) and changing strings on the fly if he happens to break one. I saw him change a .058 broken 'A' string in just a couple of minutes during a show. He sprinkles his show with commentary on life and how to improve the world.
