Jackie Meeks: A Calming Spirit in a Frantic Field

Jackie began her career in the insurance industry in 1982, working at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a Commercial Lines Audit Rater. She was promoted to Senior Rater in 1984. In 1988, Jackie began working as a Commercial Lines Underwriter for Liberty Mutual, responsible for underwriting and coordinating service for Commercial Assigned Risk Automobile and Workers Compensation policies. In short order, she was again promoted to Senior Underwriter in 1990. Jackie's quick rise allowed her to join Thompson Bailey Baker Insurance as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, becoming a fully licensed CSR in November 1995.

In April 1997, Jackie brought her expertise to The Pinnacle Group as the Personal and Commercial Lines CSR, becoming a fully licensed Property and Casualty Agent in 1999. In 2000, Jackie was promoted to the Personal Lines Manager, providing service for all personal lines clients including homeowners, renters, auto and boat insurance.

Working with Jackie is a unique and calming experience. Rarely rattled, Jackie methodically treats each client's needs as unique. She visits property sites, takes pictures, investigates flood risk and shops through the many carriers offered by The Pinnacle Group to find the best rate for the individual's circumstances. Whether you need to cover a motorboat or a motorcycle, a duplex or a double-wide, Jackie knows what coverages are mandated by law and which by common sense.

Most clients, however, hope to never see Jackie at her best. When disaster strikes and a claim needs to be filed, Jackie is the one to keep her cool and meet the customer's immediate needs. She is a quite in the storm, mediating between frantic client and insurance company. She uses her personal touch with worried customers and her professionalism with what may seem to be a distant corporation.
